UMSL junior Tim McLarty won all four of his singles matches last week extending his win streak to seven matches.

Softball
The University of Missouri–St. Louis (22-3, 9-1 Great Lakes Valley Conference) went 6-1 last week with sweeps of Newman and Rockhurst. The UMSL Tritons also defeated Pittsburg State in a single game and split with William Jewell. Junior Katie Wood led UMSL with eight hits, including two home runs, and six RBIs.The Tritons will travel to Drury on Saturday and Missouri S&T on Sunday in a pair of GLVC doubleheaders.

Baseball
UMSL (9-9, 7-5 GLVC) won a four-game series against Rockhurst, taking three games. Senior Philip Landwehr batted .600, tallying six hits, including two doubles and a triple, while also drawing four walks and stealing three bases. The Tritons will host Maryville in a doubleheader on Tuesday before traveling to William Jewell on Saturday and Sunday in another four-game league series.

Men’s Tennis
UMSL (9-4, 2-1 GLVC) went 2-2 last week, picking up wins over GLVC foes Truman State (5-4) and Quincy (7-2). Its two losses came at the hands of No. 25 ranked Florida Southern (5-4) and No. 12 ranked Drury (6-3). Junior Tim McLarty won all four of his singles matches, extending his win streak to seven matches. The Tritons have just one match this week – a GLVC contest at William Jewell on Saturday.

Women’s Tennis
UMSL (11-5) also went 2-2 on the women’s side, with GLVC wins over Truman State and Quincy, both by scores of 7-2. It’s losses were both 5-4 decisions to No. 10 ranked Florida Southern and No. 21 ranked Drury. Junior Lina Parra went 4-0 in singles, extending her win streak to eight matches, while junior Leanne Cantalupo was also 4-0 in singles.

Men’s Golf
UMSL took second at the Jim Bishop Classic, hosted by North Alabama last week. Sophomore Colby Yates tied for fourth place to pace the Tritons, while recording his fourth top-10 finish this year. UMSL is back on the links today and tomorrow at the West Florida Argonaut Invitational in Pensacola, Fla.
