Do you know a high school student who’s planning to attend college? Or maybe you know a college student looking for a different university to attend? Tell them to check out UMSL Day at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, which runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 13 at the Millennium Student Center on North Campus.
Prospective students will have the opportunity to tour the 350-acre campus, meet with current students and faculty and learn more about UMSL’s academic programs. There also will be information sessions about financial aid, scholarship opportunities and the admissions process.
Alan Byrd, director of admissions at UMSL, said UMSL Day is a wonderful opportunity for future students and their families to see the campus first-hand.
“UMSL Day is a great way for students to decide if the university is a good fit for them,” Byrd said. “UMSL offers nationally ranked programs and is home to several award-winning faculty. Students can receive an exceptional education here while enjoying everything the campus and the St. Louis community has to offer.”
Reservations for UMSL Day are encouraged. Friends and family members of prospective students also are invited to attend the event.
