On Saturday morning, when most people were still in their pajamas, one University of Missouri–St. Louis professor was performing on national television.
Jim Henry, associate professor of music and director of choral studies, is an international leader in the field of barbershop and a cappella singing. Henry and his quartet, Crossroads, appeared on “Fox & Friends Weekend” on the Fox News Network. The group discussed National Barbershop Quartet Day and performed a selection of their music. Henry has performed worldwide, including at New York City’s Carnegie Hall, and leads the annual Acappellooza Summer camp at UMSL.
