UMSL sophomore Markus Lindberg has a scoring average of 74.71 and claimed medalist honors at the Brickyard Crossing. The Tritons finished the fall half of their season ranked No. 13.

The University of Missouri–St. Louis men’s golf team moved up one spot to No. 13 in the final fall Bushnell Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll.

The UMSL Tritons’ impressive fall season saw them win three tournaments, while also recording a runner-up finish and two third place showings. UMSL repeated as Arch Cup champions and also brought home trophies from the Brickyard Crossing and the Illinois Springfield Island Getaway.

The Tritons owned a scoring average of 298.64. Senior Colby Yates posted a stroke average of 74.50 to lead the squad, while sophomore Markus Lindberg was close behind with an average of 74.71. Lindberg also claimed medalist honors at the Brickyard Crossing, while Yates had a pair of runner-up finishes individually.

UMSL begins spring competition Feb. 22-23 at the Newberry Invitational in Kiawah Island, S.C.
