The women’s basketball team outlasted visiting Truman State last Saturday in a 61-60 double overtime victory with junior Shea O’Brien contributing 14 points off the bench, including four in the second overtime.

The women’s basketball team closed out its nonconference schedule by outlasting visiting Truman State last Saturday in a 61-60 double overtime victory. The University of Missouri–St. Louis Tritons received 14 points from junior Shea O’Brien off the bench, including four in the second overtime. UMSL (6-5, 1-2 GLVC) return to Great Lakes Valley Conference play this weekend, traveling to Saint Joseph’s on Thursday and Indianapolis on Saturday.

Men’s Basketball
The Tritons lost a 91-87 decision at East Central in Ada, Okla., last Saturday to close out its nonconference schedule. Senior Brandon Marquardt had 25 points for UMSL, which trailed by 18 midway through the second half before its rally fell short. The Tritons (6-6, 0-3 GLVC) return to GLVC play this weekend, traveling to Saint Joseph’s on Thursday and Indianapolis on Saturday.
