UMSL Tritons weekly rewind

The UMSL men's golf team wrapped up its season with a 13th-place finish at the NCAA Division II Championships.

Senior Markus Lindberg finished his UMSL career with a program-record scoring average of 74.2, as the Tritons ended their season with a 13th-place finish at the NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championships.

UMSL’s men’s golf team earned a 13th-place finish at the NCAA Division II Championships, held May 21-23 at The Shoals Golf Club in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. The Tritons put together a 54-hole score of 888 (293-298-297). Sophomore Chris Ferris was UMSL’s top individual finisher, finishing in a tie for 36th place with a 219 (72-76-71). Senior Markus Lindberg wrapped up his stellar four-year collegiate career by shooting 223 and graduates as the program’s career scoring average record holder at 74.2.
