Persuasive potential of films investigated by UMSL communication faculty in Media Psychology article

An article by UMSL Associate Professors Lara Zwarun and Alice Hall was published in the most recent issue of the journal Media Psychology. The article is titled “Narrative persuasion, transportation, and the role of need for cognition in online viewing of fantastical films.”  It describes a research study that investigated how audiences’ attitudes might be changed by film stories. Current UMSL students have access to the article through the library databases.
