Be Creative – Submit to Litmag

The holiday season is finally upon us, but let us not forget the important things… The University of Missouri–Saint Louis’ literary journal, Litmag!

We hope that in between all the relaxing you plan to do during the winter break that you do not forget about the amazing opportunity Litmag has to offer. Getting published is an amazing accomplishment! It also looks pretty darn good on a resume. Please ensure your work is ready.

Submissions Welcomed: 

  • Poems
  • Fictional short stories, flash fiction of 4,000 words or less
  • Creative nonfiction essays of 4,000 words or less
  • Multilingual works of 4,000 words or less*
  • Artwork (paintings, sculptures, comics, drawings, etc., digitally scanned and submitted as jpeg with 300 dpi resolution)

*Multilingual submissions should include both the language of origin along with an English translation

Submission Guidelines:   

  • Please limit submissions to 5 per category
  • Only unpublished work will be accepted
