She talked about the day-to-day challenges that people in the oil and gas industries face, and ways (or technologies) that help address them and help them be more proactive. As the Advisory Manager at PwC, she advocated using the company’s mobile-based solution that aims to decrease risks to employees, specifically field workers in remote locations, by improving overall workplace efficiency and safety. She explains a few of the technology benefits.

Take away:
Business logic implications involved in the results of A/B Tests can be complicated. The speaker talked about ranking the experiments, properly identifying the matrices being evaluated, and proper reporting and documentation. She is responsible to supervise the evaluation of around 1700 metrics for A/B Testing at LinkedIn and their results. Running time for experiments and other user data analysis underway at LinkedIn Corporation.
