Modern American Dance Company, the resident company at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, will debut new work and celebrate the return of some audience favorites in a pair of concerts. “MADCO in Concert” will begin at 8 p.m. March 19 and 20 in the E. Desmond and Mary Ann Lee Theater at UMSL’s Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center. Tickets cost $18 to $20.

“Movement Activities: Response” is one of the pieces MADCO is bringing back to the stage. The Toronto Globe and Mail hailed the company’s past performance as “a wonderfully clever and very funny piece, performed with high energy by MADCO’s army of terrific young dancers.”

The Touhill is at the UMSL, One University Blvd. in St. Louis, Mo. 63121. “MADCO in Concert” is sponsored by the College of Fine Arts and Communication at UMSL. Visit http://www.madcodance.com or call 314-516-4949 for more information.
