HEC-TV will broadcast the University of Missouri–St. Louis Chancellor’s Report to the Community at 6 p.m. Friday (June 25). Chancellor Tom George gave the 34th annual report May 4 at America’s Center in St. Louis.

The report included updates on the state of the school, progress made during the past year and give a glimpse at UMSL’s future goals.

Highlights include:

* The announcement of a $500,00 gift from Ameren Corporation to benefit the construction of a new building for the College of Business Administration;

* The announcement of a five-year contract to continue the UMSL/Washington University Joint Undergraduate Engineering Program; and

* The future goal of raising $25 million in gifts and pledges for construction of a $15 million building for the College of Business Administration and $10 million in endowed professorships and scholarships.

HEC-TV can be viewed on Charter Cable channel 989 in St. Louis and St. Louis County, and Channel 99 on AT&T U-Verse.
