Financial expert Juli Niemann will discuss the current economic crisis and recovery efforts during the “Economic Forecast Luncheon,” a lecture and lunch, at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 7 in the Century Rooms at the Millennium Student Center at University of Missouri–St. Louis.

Niemann is executive vice president at Smith Moore and Co., a St. Louis-based financial advising firm. She is a well-known and respected investment analyst with more than 35 years of experience in financial services.

She is a 1977 graduate of the College of Business Administration at UMSL. In 2003, she co-authored “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to the Politics of Oil.”
