Members of University Singers perform in the spring at a UMSL concert at the Touhill.

University of Missouri–St. Louis choir groups University Singers and Vocal Point will perform a range of songs by Johannes Brahms, Woody Guthrie, the Beatles, Queen and Jamiroquai. The concert will begin at 7:30 Nov. 15 in the Anheuser-Busch Performance Hall at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center. It is free and open to the public.

Led by James Henry, director of choral studies at UMSL, and accompanied by Donna Pyron, specialist in music at UMSL, the groups will perform “Virtual Insanity” by Jamiroquai, “Blackbird/I Will” by the Beatles, “Seaside Rendezvous” by Queen, “This Land Is Your Land” by Woody Guthrie, Three Gypsy Songs from “Zigeunerlieder,” Op. 103 by Johannes Brahms and more.

Vocal Point is a 21-person a cappella group. University Singers is a 51-person chorus.

The Touhill is on UMSL’s North Campus, One University Blvd. in St. Louis, Mo. 63121. The concert is sponsored by the Department of Music at UMSL.
