UMSL faculty members (from left) Marvin Berkowitz, Mary Lacity and Jean-Germain Gros were featured in a video focused on service, research and teaching.

The dynamic faculty members at the University of Missouri–St. Louis take on many roles. A new UMSL video looks at three particular areas in which the faculty excels: teaching, research and service.

Representing each area are the following faculty members:

  • Teaching – Jean-Germain Gros, associate professor of political science
  • Reseach – Mary Lacity, professor of information systems
  • Service – Marvin Berkowitz, the Sanford N. McDonnell Endowed Professor of Character Education

The video, which is the latest in UMSL’s Gateway for Greatness Campaign series, made its debut Sept. 15 at UMSL’s annual Founders Dinner. Past videos have focused on UMSL alumni and students.
