WOMEN’S GOLF
Led by a tie for a fourth place finish from sophomore Daniela Viotti, the UMSL women’s golf team earned a fifth-place finish at the Northern Illinois University (DeKalb) Huskie Classic, held Sunday and Monday. The Tritons carded a 675 (337-338) in the 12-team tournament, which consisted of 10 NCAA Division I programs.

MEN’S SOCCER
The UMSL men’s soccer team went 2-0 at home last week with wins over Drury University (Sprinfield, Mo.) (1-0 OT) and No. 7 ranked Missouri University of Science and Technology (Rolla) (4-0). Peter Hyde scored the game-winner 1:28 into overtime against the Panthers, while junior Luc Wells came off the bench to tally two goals against the nationally ranked Miners. UMSL now stands at 5-2-3 overall and 4-2-2- in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

VOLLEYBALL
UMSL posted a 2-1 mark at home last weekend, which included sweeps of the University of Southern Indiana (Vanderburgh County) and the University of Wisconsin–Parkside. The lone setback was a 3-0 loss to No. 21 ranked Lewis University (Romeoville, Ill.). UMSL is now 10-5 overall and 6-3 in the GLVC.

WOMEN’S SOCCER
UMSL posted a 2-0 victory over Drury University Friday night before suffering a 1-0 loss to Missouri S&T on Sunday. Seniors Samantha Faron and Kelly Muesenfechter each had a goal in the win over the Panthers. UMSL now stands at 4-5 overall and 3-4 in the GLVC.

WOMEN’S TENNIS
The UMSL women’s tennis team posted a 9-0 victory over Lindenwood University (St. Charles, Mo.) in its first dual match of the season last Wednesday.
