“AWARENESS=LIFE” will be on display from Nov. 10 through Dec. 15 at Gallery Visio at UMSL.

“AWARENESS=LIFE,” an exhibit of Normandy (Mo.) High School student artists, will be on display from Nov. 10 through Dec. 15 at Gallery Visio on the campus of the University of Missouri–St. Louis. An opening reception will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 10.

“AWARENESS=LIFE” will showcase Normandy High School student artists in their first gallery show. All proceeds from the exhibit will benefit the Will Flores Fund, which helps children and families affected by HIV-AIDS. This exhibition is sponsored by Prizm, an UMSL student organization.

Gallery Visio is UMSL’s student-run art gallery. It is committed to the exhibition of undergraduate, alumni and emerging artists’ art and activities for the purpose of study, education and enjoyment.

Gallery Visio is in 170 Millennium Student Center at UMSL, 1 University Blvd. in St. Louis County (63121). Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. All exhibits are free and open to the public. For more information, call 314-516-7922 or visit umsl.edu/~galvisio.
