A crane, supervised by SystemAire Inc., lifts the outdated, original wooden cooling tower from the roof of the Research Building. It will be replaced with a stainless steel version. The picture, taken by campus photographer August Jennewein, is the latest to be featured at Eye on UMSL.
English alum Marty Ambrose builds on a lifelong love of poetry in the classroom and in her historical mysteries
Ambrose has written a trilogy on Claire Clairmont, a writer and the stepsister of Mary Shelley, as well as “The Lost Dresses of Italy,” which explores the life of Victorian poet Christina Rossetti.
