Capitalizing on shared social and informal learning techniques is beneficial to all growing companies.

Ann E. Schulte, chief learning officer at MasterCard Worldwide in O’Fallon, Mo., will discuss “The Learning Transfer Climate” at 8 a.m. March 1 in the Student Government Association Chamber in the Millennium Student Center at the University of Missouri–St. Louis.

Schulte is responsible for learning and capability development at MasterCard. She designs and implements programs and initiatives that enhance business performance, such as management and leadership, sales and product knowledge, technical skills, professional skills and team effectiveness.

The discussion is part of the monthly Breakfast & Business Series sponsored by the University of Missouri–St. Louis’ College of Business Administration.

Breakfast and networking will begin at 7:30 a.m. The discussion will follow. The event is free and open to the public. The Millennium Student Center is on UMSL’s North Campus, 1 University Blvd. (63121).
