The New York City-based Irish rock band Black 47 will headline the 2012 Celtic Festival Nov. 3 at the Touhill.

The New York City-based Irish rock band Black 47 will bring its eclectic mix of reggae, hip-hop, jazz, blues, folk and traditional Irish music to the University of Missouri–­St. Louis as part of the Celtic Festival.

The band will perform at 8 p.m. Nov. 3 in the Anheuser-Busch Performance Hall at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center. The St. Louis Irish Arts, a group of lively young people trained in traditional Irish folk music and dance, will open the show. Arrive early and enjoy Irish food tasting and beer samples in the Touhill lobby courtesy of Llywelyn’s Pubs.

For those who purchase a VIP ticket the festivities will continue after the concert with a post-performance gathering featuring an open bar and buffet.
