Terry Jones, professor of political science, was quoted in Sept. 5 in the St. Louis Public Radio | 90.7 KWMU story “Morning headlines: Wednesday, September 5, 2012.” Jones was quoted Sept. 24 in the NPR story “Todd Akin bets he still has a chance.” He was quoted Sept. 9 in the St. Louis Beacon article “St. Louis area clinics’ program called model for expanded Medicaid under ACA.” Jones was quoted Sept. 8 in the St. Louis Public Radio story “Experts field community questions on the Affordable Care Act.” He was mentioned Sept. 30 in the Los Angeles Times article “Stalwart Missouri conservatives stick with Todd Akin for Senate.”

Derrick Langeneckert, a student pursuing a master’s degree in biology, was featured Sept. 28 in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch article “Downtown St. Louis is getting a new craft brewery.”

Janet Lauritsen, professor of criminology and criminal justice, was quoted Sept. 19 in The New York Times article “Fewer children are found exposed to violent crime.”

Dave Robertson, Curators’ Teaching Professor of Political Science, was quoted Sept. 18 in the KMOX (1120 AM) story “Akin faces uphill battle in Senate race.” Robertson wrote the Sept. 20 St. Louis Post-Dispatch article “Guest commentary: Paul Ryan’s budget plan could hurt many Missourians.” l He was quoted Sept. 26 in The Christian Science Monitor article “Todd Akin: Why some Republicans are now supporting him.” Robertson was quoted Sept. 30 in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch article “Candidates for Missouri’s attorney general see the race very differently.” l He was quoted Sept. 30 in the Los Angeles Times article “Stalwart Missouri conservatives stick with Todd Akin for Senate.”

Richard Rosenfeld, Curators’ Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice, was quoted Sept. 3 in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch article “Scheduling changes help reduce crime, response times in St. Louis County.” Rosenfeld discussed police and crime in St. Louis on the Sept. 5 episode of “St. Louis on the Air,” a program on St. Louis Public Radio | 90.7 KWMU.  He was quoted Sept. 27 in The St. Louis American article “Tracking guns used in local crimes.” Rosenfeld was quoted Sept. 21 in the St. Louis Beacon article “Police target violence by using data rather than instinct.”
