More than 900 people visited the University of Missouri–St. Louis on Nov. 17 for UMSL Day. The biannual event gives prospective students and their families the opportunity to tour the university’s 350-acre campus, talk with faculty members and attend information sessions on admissions and financial aid. The Office of Admissions held UMSL Day at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center for the first time. The university received 112 applications, which tied the record number of applications received at UMSL Day in fall 2011.

The photograph was taken by UMSL photographer August Jennewein and is the latest to be featured in Eye on UMSL. A collection of photos from UMSL Day is available on Flickr.
