Femi John works as a part-time nurse and is pursuing his MBA at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. He’s also in the midst of a basketball career revival. The former McCluer North High School (Florissant, Mo.) standout and Saint Louis University recruit is now a guard on the UMSL Tritons after battling injuries for several years.

FOX Sports Midwest and KSDK (Channel 5) recently featured John for resurrecting his hoops career.

“I’m enjoying myself,” John told FOX Sports Midwest. “It’s not fun adjusting. That’s hard. After not playing for three years, it’s been difficult at times. But just being able to come out and play basketball every day is something that I’m definitely not taking for granted.”

Darian Cartharn, a senior communication major, UMSL Tritons guard and John’s roommate, was also quoted in the FOX Sports Midwest article.
