The world of business is ever-growing and ever-changing. In order to stay on top, business schools must stay one step ahead.

Thomas Eyssell, associate dean and director of graduate studies in the College of Business Administration at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, talked with the St. Louis Business Journal about what UMSL is doing to maintain its top-notch Master’s of Business Administration offerings.

The Q&A by Nicholas Ledden of the St. Louis Business Journal ran Dec. 13 in the print addition.

“We have recently created two new graduate certificates: Certificate in Business Intelligence, which provides participants the tools necessary to analyze ‘big data,’ and Certificate in Digital Media Marketing, which enables students to employ the ever-increasing array of digital and social media tools to reach consumers,” Eyssell told the Journal. “We have also revamped our evening MBA program to provide greater flexibility in delivery formats, prerequisite completion and interdisciplinary ‘tracks’ of study. We have also entered into an agreement with the St. Louis College of Pharmacy to allow students in both institutions to take courses at the other, as well as agreements with international partners in China, Finland, Germany and Taiwan to provide more opportunities to study abroad.”
