With the new school year kicking off, students have the opportunity to explore everything the University of Missouri–St. Louis has to offer. On Sept. 3, the annual Study Abroad Fair was held in the Rotunda of the Millennium Student Center, allowing students to explore UMSL’s international programs.

UMSL’s study abroad program offers students the opportunity to complete their studies by expanding their worldly experience. Students can choose from semester-long programs, short-term options and summer intensive programs. Many students are able to select a few classes that will either count for a major/minor credit or a core credit option. No matter the major, students have a great variety in choosing the best destination for the interests including Istanbul, Turkey, Korea, Spain and South Africa among many others.

For those with an interest in staying stateside, The National Student Exchange provides UMSL students the opportunity to study at universities within the United States and its regions. Most national and international programs are affordable and compare to a semester at UMSL, but scholarships and financial aid are also available.

Any students interested in learning more about UMSL’s study abroad opportunities, should visit the study abroad resource library in Room 261 in the Millennium Student Center, or visit the website for UMSL’s Study Abroad Office.
