Women’s Basketball
The University of Missouri–St. Louis Tritons opened their home schedule with a pair of wins in their own UMSL Classic, defeating Lincoln, 72-57, and Minnesota State, 83-68. Senior Alexis Lawrence averaged 19.5 points in the two victories, while senior Tierra Snow averaged 11.5 points and 9.5 rebounds. As a team, the Tritons owned a +17.0 rebounding margin. The Tritons (3-1) will close out a three-game homestand on Saturday at 1 p.m., hosting Trevecca Nazarene.

Men’s Basketball
UMSL picked up a 73-60 win over Robert Morris-Springfield on Saturday in its home opener to stay unbeaten. Junior Kevin Swanson scored 22 points, while senior Aareon Smith followed with 19 points and six rebounds. The Tritons (3-0) continue a four-game homestand on Tuesday, hosting Benedictine of Springfield, Ill., at 7 p.m.
