Eye on UMSL: Sumo students

Eye on UMSL: Sumo students

Hasib Ibradzic, a senior information systems major, and Abdul-Kariem Mattenzzi, a senior business administration major, stepped inside sumo suits and into the ring to wrestle recently at UMSL’s Millennium Student Center. Mattenzzi (wearing the red-belted costume) was the clear winner, pinning Ibradzic after a spirited match. The University Program Board sponsored the sumo wrestling event.

The photograph was taken by UMSL photographer August Jennewein and is the latest to be featured in Eye on UMSL.
