UMSL defeated Trevecca Nazarene 62-47 on Saturday behind senior Tierra Snow’s season-best 15 points.

Women’s Basketball
The University of Missouri–St. Louis Tritons defeated Trevecca Nazarene 62-47 on Saturday behind senior Tierra Snow’s season-best 15 points. Senior Alexis Lawrence tallied 13 points, including 10 in the second half, while sophomore Sydney Bloch followed with a career-best 11 points and freshman Jordan Fletcher chipped in 10. Guards Amber Daly and Kelly McGovern pulled down 12 and 11 rebounds, respectively. UMSL (4-1) will return to the court Saturday in an exhibition game against Saint Louis University.

Men’s Basketball
UMSL defeated Benedictine-Springfield lastTuesday afternoon 89-61. Senior Derek Shouse scored a season-high 18 points, while senior Aareon Smith recorded his second double-double of the season with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Junior Derek Williams also reached double figures with 13 points and five assists. UMSL shot an even 50 percent in the first half to take a 49-23 lead at the break en route to the win. The Tritons (4-0) return to the court Tuesday as they host Concordia Seminary at 7 p.m.
