Connect with UMSL

They call it the spring semester – the one that begins this chilly month of January – but on Wednesday, the Winter Expo is coming to the University of Missouri–St. Louis.

Organized by the University Program Board, the Jan. 21 event aims to help UMSL students start the new semester strong and get involved on campus. Representatives from a wide range of student groups and campus organizations will be on hand in the Millennium Student Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering a quick, fun way to learn more about the unique opportunities they provide.

One of those entities is the University Marketing and Communications team. Students and the entire UMSL campus community may stop by the #UMSLFAMOUS table for a goofy photo-booth picture (complete with UMSL-themed props!) and some information about UMSL Daily and the latest version of the UMSL mobile app.

UMSL Daily is the university’s social media newsroom where you’ll find features on students, alumni, faculty and staff. It also includes access to the UMSL social media channels and the latest campus news and media clips involving the UMSL community.

The latest version of the UMSL app provides mobile access to MyGateway, including class schedules, updated posts and grades. The app also features a full course catalog, campus dining options and hours, direct access to a UMSL social media feed and a safety icon to quickly contact the campus police.

In the meantime, click here to subscribe to UMSL Daily. Click here to download the UMSL App. And share your own #UMSLFAMOUS story at umslnews@umsl.edu.
