FamilyWith a little help from his father, Chris Roccia, 2-year-old Jackson greets his mother, Assistant Dean of Students Miriam Roccia, with roses during a March 19 reception in the Millennium Student Center.

Roccia was one of five UMSL women honored for their contributions to the university and society at the University of Missouri–St. Louis’s 2015 Trailblazers Ceremony in celebration of National Women’s History Month.

The photograph was taken by UMSL photographer August Jennewein and is the latest to be featured in Eye on UMSL.
