Senior Jessie Eikmann, features editor for The Current and Pierre Laclede Honors College student, interviews Mary Allen in a quiet moment after the dedication of her husband’s “Dr. Marcus Allen Advising Center” for the College of Arts and Sciences in 303 Lucas Hall.

“He loved UMSL and this recognition is returning that love to him and to us,” Allen said in a UMSL Daily article about the Sept. 3 dedication ceremony.
