The circular window of the almost-complete Patient Care Center is shaping up to be the literal eye on the University of Missouri–St. Louis campus. It’s an appropriate architectural statement, considering the center will house the College of Optometry’s clinic.

On the inside, the window’s glass casts sunlight in colorful rays over the welcome area below. See UMSL Daily’s sneak peek into the building this past March.

The Patient Care Center is set to open for the fall semester.

This photograph was taken by UMSL photographer August Jennewein and is the latest to be featured in Eye on UMSL.
