Eye on UMSL: Cultivators

Alongside other volunteers, UMSL student Meghann Humphries (at left) and Patty Parker, the Des Lee Professor of Zoological Science, work the garden in front of Stadler Hall. Occupied by native Missouri species, it was planted in late April – leading up to Earth Day – as a space for faculty and staff to learn about plants, pollinators and the natural environment.

This photograph was taken by UMSL photographer August Jennewein and is the latest to be featured in Eye on UMSL.
