100,000th graduate

Marco Pipoly couldn’t have earned his degree in psychology and become the 100,000th graduate of the University of Missouri–St. Louis without plenty of support. They joined him on stage after the 2 p.m. commencement ceremony and fittingly backed him as he marked a milestone that, for UMSL, was 55 years in the making.

The photograph was taken by UMSL photographer August Jennewein and is the latest to be featured in Eye on UMSL.
