Sixteen tenure and non-tenure track faculty members at the University of Missouri–St. Louis have earned promotions to take effect Aug. 1, Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Kristin Sobolik announced.
“These are important milestones in a faculty member’s career, and we are glad to celebrate their achievements,” Sobolik said. “The foundation of our university rests on the strength of our faculty and their work is integral to our mission to education students, generate knowledge, and engage with our community. I commend each of these faculty on their accomplishments and thank them for their service to UMSL.”
Four members of the faculty received tenure and promotion to associate professor with three more promoted to full professor. Nine non-tenure track faculty members were also promoted.
