Nominations open for 2020 UMSL Sports Hall of Fame

The Department of Athletics is now accepting nominations for inductees to the UMSL Sports Hall of Fame in three categories: student-athlete, coach or distinguished services.

The Department of Athletics is accepting nominations for the 2020 UMSL Sports Hall of Fame class, which will be inducted at a ceremony on Feb. 21, 2020.

The University of Missouri–St. Louis Department of Athletics is now accepting nominations for inductees to the UMSL Sports Hall of Fame. Individuals can be nominated in one of three categories: student-athlete, coach or distinguished services. Anyone can nominate those deemed worthy of induction for the 2020 class before the nomination deadline on October 1, 2019.

The UMSL Sports Hall of Fame began in 2001 in a joint effort by the alumni and constituent relations department and the athletic department. There were with 12 inaugural members in the first class in 2001, and it now includes a total of 82 individual inductees and nine team inductions.

The 2020 induction ceremony will take place February 21, 2020 at The Grand Hall at St. Louis Union Station. More information on the ceremony will be released later.
