Workers from Facilities Management tackled 6 inches of snow and ice to clear the 15.5 plus miles of sidewalks, ramps, stairs, roads and lots at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. The deluge of fine powder from the two-day storm system caused the university to close Monday out of concern for the safety of staff, faculty and students.

This photograph was taken by UMSL photographer August Jennewein and is the latest to be featured in Eye on UMSL.
