Eye on UMSL: Second shot

Nursing student Abigail Wiese administered a COVID-19 vaccination to a patient Saturday during a mass vaccination clinic held in the Century Rooms of the Millennium Student Center at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. Adjunct instructor Susan Traylor (at right) oversaw Wiese and the other UMSL nursing students volunteering to administer vaccines. More than 2,000 people received their second dose of the vaccine at the clinic put on by the St. Louis County Department of Public Health, the Missouri National Guard, the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
