Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Marie Mora announced promotions for 28 tenure and non-tenure track faculty members at the University of Missouri–St. Louis ahead of the 2021-22 academic year. The promotions will take effect on Aug. 1.

“I am delighted to announce the promotions of these faculty members, and I am proud of all of their excellent work,” Mora said. “They, like the rest of our faculty, have shown their dedication to our students during an unprecedented academic year, and I am grateful for their continued efforts to transform the lives of people in the St. Louis region.

“I offer special congratulations to our faculty members who were awarded tenure and promoted to the rank of associate professor. They have advanced to the next level of the academy through their outstanding teaching, research and creative works, and service, and I expect their advancement to continue in the years ahead as they progress toward the full professor rank.”

Seven faculty members received tenure and promotions to associate professor, five more earned the rank of full professor, and 16 non-tenure track faculty members also received promotions, including four to full teaching professor.
