University of Missouri–St. Louis Chancellor Kristin Sobolik (at left) welcomed Vice Admiral Robert D. Sharp, the retiring director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, to the UMSL campus on Monday afternoon. They met in the atrium of the St. Louis Mercantile Library, and it was an opportunity for Sobolik to thank Sharp for his role in collaboration between UMSL and NGA, including the educational partnership agreement they both signed in October and cooperation with UMSL’s growing Geospatial Collaborative. Sobolik also presented him with a platter.
