Students from high schools across the St. Louis region and as far away at Abu Dhabi participating in the Students and Teachers As Research Scientists program at the University of Missouri–St. Louis gathered last week for a group photo in the lobby of the Science Learning Building. The six-week program has been matching students with research mentors from across the area and providing them hands-on laboratory experience and mentorship since 1989.

This photograph was taken by UMSL photographer August Jennewein and is the latest to be featured in Eye on UMSL.
