Volunteers (from left) Alan Ruby, Mary Fulmer, Pat Greer and Don Greer earned special recognition as outstanding ushers for their dedication to the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center and the performing arts more broadly. Between the number of events they have volunteered at and their high performance standards, they continue to be an example for those around them, and they play an integral role in helping the Touhill hold the events it does and help bring the performing arts to the University of Missouri–St. Louis and the surrounding community.

The four shared what they appreciate most about volunteering at the Touhill.

“To give back to the community,” Don Greer said.

“I enjoy seeing some of the productions they have here and assisting people when they need help getting to their seats,” Pat Greer said.

“I enjoy working with the other ushers and volunteers here,” Ruby said. “It’s just a pleasant community to spend time with.”

“I love the theater, I love the productions,” Fulmer said. “I love this theater, and I love working with the people.”
