University of Missouri–St. Louis students walk through the Quad on the first day of classes for the fall semester. Construction projects, including the deconstruction of the Social Sciences and Business Building Tower, as part of the Transform UMSL initiative, have created a few detours and necessitated some new routes for the students to negotiate. UMSL staff members, including Ashleah “Bob” Summers (at left, in green) from the Office of Inclusive Postsecondary Education, were ready to help students figure out how to get where they needed to go.

This photograph was taken by UMSL photographer Derik Holtmann and is the latest to be featured in Eye on UMSL. View more UMSL photos by visiting the UMSL Flickr and Instagram accounts.
