Assistant Professor Anita Manion appeared as the guest on the inaugural Inside UMSL podcast.

A new podcast is highlighting the dedicated faculty, staff and students who are shaping the campus experience at the University of Missouri–St. Louis.

The Inside UMSL podcast is a joint initiative of the Office of Admissions and University Marketing and Communications and will feature interviews covering innovative teaching, groundbreaking research, exciting extracurricular opportunities, athletics and other campus initiatives.

Nate Fleming serves as the podcast’s host with new episodes released monthly. They will be available on the Inside UMSL podcast page or wherever you listen to podcasts.

The first episode features a conversation with Anita Manion, an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science, who also serves as a political analyst for KSDK (Channel 5). She and Fleming discuss St. Louis roots, her research interests in public policy – including recent examination of four-day school weeks in Missouri – and her teaching of American politics with an emphasis on civil discourse.
