The University of Missouri–St. Louis‘ newly renamed agile mobile robot dog, Titan, visited last week’s Spring Involvement Jamboree in the Millennium Student Center and met a few smiling faces at a table with representatives of UMSL Graduate Business as it showed off its new look.

Titan is an instrument of UMSL’s Geospatial Collaborative and makes its home in the Geospatial Advanced Technology Lab. It is equipped with cameras and sensors used to collect data used in modeling.

Last semester, the university collected suggestions from members of the campus community while going through a process to rename the robotic dog. Members of the Creative Services team in University Marketing and Communications designed its new wrap.

This photograph was taken by UMSL photographer Derik Holtmann and is the latest to be featured in Eye on UMSL. View more UMSL photos by visiting the UMSL Flickr and Instagram accounts.
