From Feb. 22 to March 1, students, faculty, staff and alumni of the University of Missouri–St. Louis joined together to celebrate the university’s annual homecoming. With a theme of “Tritons in the Sky,” this year’s celebration combined both classic homecoming activities such as the annual Pancake Breakfast and the Chili Feed as well as newer additions like Tritons Got Talent, a talent show introduced last year that puts a spotlight on the creativity of performers from across campus.

This year also saw some changes to the festivities including a brand-new Student Wellness Fair and a new location for the popular Homecoming Dance in Century Rooms A through C in the Millennium Student Center. And at a pre-game Pep Rally before the annual Pack the Stands event, UMSL unveiled an official Louie logo for UMSL Athletics.

Photographer Derik Holtmann and Social Media Manager Valerie Furlong were on hand to capture the action as the UMSL community filled their plates at the Chili Feed, packed the stands to support the men’s and women’s basketball teams and showcased their musical talents. Take a look at some of the highlights here and view more photos on UMSL’s Flickr page.
