Senior music major Rita Schien performs with piano accompaniment during a recital for vocal music students held last Wednesday in the E. Desmond and Mary Ann Lee Theater at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center. Students performed songs they’d been preparing throughout the spring semester.

Students in the Department of Music have two other performances on tap this week. Tonight, University Singers, Vocal Point and Voices of Jubilation will all appear together in one concert titled “Life has…” (A choral journey). On Thursday, the UMSL Symphony Orchestra and UMSL Wind Ensemble will join forces in their final concert, “Death and Life.” Both concerts will take place in the Anheuser-Busch Performance Hall at the Touhill.
