George Nnanna, the founding director of the University of Missouri–St. Louis School of Engineering, talks with attendees of the Connected Conversations event hosted by University Advancement last Tuesday night in the Ed Collabitat on South Campus.
The evening provided an opportunity for members of the Chancellor’s Council and college advisory boards, along with other supporters, to meet with Nnanna and other UMSL leaders overseeing key programs and priorities at the university.
Other speakers included Professor Joanna Mendoza and Associate Professor Jim Henry (in the background above) representing the Department of Music; UMSL Facilities Assistant Director Blake Sutter overseeing the Transform UMSL initiative; Associate Professor April Regester leading the Office of Inclusive Postsecondary Education; Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor Carl Bassi leading research in the College of Optometry; Professor Haitao Li who chairs the Department of Supply Chain and Analytics; and Director Reda Amer and Research Fellow and retired Vice Admiral Robert Sharp from UMSL’s Geospatial Collaborative.
