Michael Costello, assistant teaching professor of finance and legal studies, was featured Dec. 20 in the University City (Mo.) Patch article “Michael Costello: Local international attorney now teaches business at UMSL.” He was featured Dec. 21 in the University City Patch article “Part II: An interview with local Michael Costello, a key figure in local soccer circles.”

Tara Galovski, assistant professor of psychology, was interviewed Dec. 14 for the KSDK (Channel 5) story “Tara Galovski has tips on how to talk to your kids about the Conn. school shooting.”

Beth Huebner, associate professor of criminology and criminal justice, was quoted Dec. 11 in the St. Louis Public Radio | 90.7 KWMU story “In freedom, ex-felon becomes probation counselor,” which also aired on Minnesota Public Radio.

Edward Jarka, clinical assistant professor of optometry, was quoted in the article “Platelet-rich plasma successfully treats dry eye,” which appeared in the December issue of Primary Care Optometry News.

David Kimball, professor of political science, was quoted Dec. 23 in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette article “Parties at odds over more election changes.”

Dave Robertson, Curators’ Teaching Professor of Political Science, discussed the year in politics on the Dec. 26 episode of “St. Louis on the Air,” a program on St. Louis Public Radio | 90.7 KWMU.
