Quality education. Outstanding faculty. Top-notch accredited programs. Those are just a few of the things that make the College of Business Administration at the University of Missouri–St. Louis stand out.

The college was rated among the nation’s best business schools by The Princeton Review and is featured in the recently released 2014 edition of the annual guidebook “The Best 295 Business Schools.” Selected from more than 10,000 business schools worldwide, UMSL’s business college made the elite list of schools.

“One of  the distinguishing characteristics of a great business school is the quality of its faculty,” said Charles Hoffman, dean of the college. “It’s gratifying to see the Princeton Review recognize their contribution to our mission to provide quality business education so that our students can succeed in the increasingly global and technologically evolving marketplace.”

UMSL’s College of Business Administration is one of the St. Louis area’s leading providers of business education with bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees and doctorates available in various areas of study. The college is accredited by the Association to Advance College Schools of Business.

Publishers of the guidebook surveyed UMSL business students, who said the college  “maintains a good reputation in the St. Louis area for providing a good, quality business education while also maintaining a very affordable tuition price.” They credit the professors as “professionals in their field, who teach about real-world experience and tie current events into the curriculum.”

Princeton researchers found the average starting salary for UMSL business graduates to be $57,200, and the highest number of them are employed in the finance field.

The Princeton Review is a New York-based company known for its test preparation courses, education services and college and graduate school admission services. The “Best 295 Business Schools” is published by Random House.
