Tyler Colico, a sophomore on the UMSL Tritons men’s soccer team, scored one of two UMSL goals last week as the team won a game, tied a game and ultimately clinched a spot on the GLVC tournament.

Volleyball
The University of Missouri–St. Louis went 1-2 at the GLVC-GLIAC Crossover Tournament last weekend. The UMSL Tritons defeated Ashland, 3-2, on Friday in their opening match before suffering 3-1 losses to No. 17 Grand Valley State and Saginaw Valley State on Saturday. UMSL (13-11, 7-5 GLVC) returns home this weekend with a pair of GLVC matches. The Tritons will host Saint Joseph’s on Saturday and Indianapolis on Sunday.

Men’s Soccer
UMSL clinched a spot in the GLVC Tournament last weekend with a 1-0 win at McKendree on Friday and a 1-1 double overtime tie at Bellarmine on Sunday. Senior Matt Burrus had the goal at McKendree and assisted Tyler Colico‘s goal against Bellarmine. The Tritons are currently on a six-game unbeaten streak. UMSL (8-6-2, 6-5-1 GLVC) will close out the regular season on Wednesday at Maryville. GLVC Tournament Quarterfinals begin on Sunday. UMSL’s opponent and other game information will be released Wednesday night.

Women’s Soccer
UMSL drew a 1-1 double overtime tie at McKendree on Friday night. Brittany Harbaugh scored in the 58th minute, while the Bearcats netted the equalizer with just 26 seconds to play. The Tritons then suffered a 2-1 loss at Bellarmine on Sunday. Hunter Wagoner netted that goal. The Tritons (4-10-2, 2-10-2 GLVC) will close out the season on Wednesday at Maryville.
